Atelier Waalre
Where stories are born
On the edge of the Waalre woods, Kiki Swinkels writes the stories of Bordy's – plates with a story. In her cozy, cluttered studio, she researches new perspectives and delves into the characters behind each theme. This creates meaningful stories, always told with a wink. In between, Kiki waves tablecloths, carries around all sorts of things for the most beautiful table settings, and makes our social media a real party. Customer contact and shipping also run through this studio.

Atelier Scharendijke
Where plates become art
Here on the Zeeland coast, artist Karen Wullings transforms each plate into a work of art. In her studio, she uses pencil and brush to translate stories into lively, humorous illustrations. Every detail tells a story—and the more you look, the more you discover. Karen oversees the entire production process, from the initial sketch to the beautifully packaged porcelain plate sets.

Limited Editions
Since 2018, Kiki and Karen have released one or two new series every year, each with its own theme and character. Bordys are small works of art and are therefore released in limited editions. This way, you can bring something special into your home that not everyone has in their closet. Our latest series, Catchy, is the 20th – and we're celebrating with a Party Edition!
