Are you one of those dog moms (or dog dads) who loves to spoil their dog with treats? Or would you like to do a fun, creative project with your kids? These DIY Sweet Wiener dog biscuits are super easy to make, and delicious too! The ingredients are simple and healthy, so you can give your four-legged friend a tasty treat without worrying about unhealthy additives. And best of all? It only takes a few steps to bake the perfect cookie!
Ingredients
150 g flour
150 g fine oatmeal
100 g 100% peanut butter (without added sugar or salt)
1 egg
100 ml water
Step 1: Preparation Preheat the oven to 170 °C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. This way, you don't have to worry about the cookies sticking.
Step 2: Mix it up! Put all the ingredients for the dough in a large bowl. Mix everything with your hands or with a (hand) mixer with dough hooks. The dough will be nice and firm, but if it feels too stiff, just add 1-2 tablespoons of water to make it a little more pliable.
Step 3: Roll out and cut Roll out the dough on a lightly floured work surface to a thickness of about 5-6 millimeters. Cut out the cookies with a cookie cutter and place them on the baking sheet. Make sure to leave a little space between the cookies so they can rise nicely. And don't worry, if you have any dough left over, you can just roll it out again.
Step 4: Bake! Bake the cookies for 30-40 minutes until crispy. Check occasionally to make sure they don't brown too much. Remove them from the oven and let them cool completely on a wire rack. This will make them extra crispy.
Step 5: Store and enjoy You can store the cookies in an airtight container or box to keep them fresh for a long time. We're sure your dog won't be able to get enough of them!
Enjoy baking!🐾❤️
